Quickstep size is roughly half octavo. Of course, that gets into the
problems with the definitions of octavo, of which there are a half
dozen:

Strangely, the definition there for 16mo is not half of any of the
octavo sizes, so something's definitely wrong with that chart.

Back in the day when I was creating lots of this type of music by
hand, I would trim print it on 8.5x11, trim an inch off the side and
cut in half. That wasn't exactly right, but it was close enough to
fit in flip folios.

I just dug out an old piece from my marching band days and the paper is 6.5 (width) x 5.5 (height).
